Courtney Jaimes
Courtney started dancing at eight years old. From a young age she found a passion in the art and loved performing. For college, Courtney attended Mt. San Antonio in Southern California. She was selected for their Repertory Dance Company under the direction of Lee Martino and Amy Nakamura. She performed at the American College Dance Association (ACDFA) where she received feedback from prestigious judges and mentors.
As a working dancer, she has had the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Jennifer Holiday, Rogelio Douglas Jr. and Obba Babatundé. In 2016, Courtney won First Place and "Crowd Favorite" with her hip hop crew at World of Dance Los Angeles. As a teacher, her choreography has received first place regional and national titles. Courtney prides herself on creating a safe space for her dancers to feel encouraged.
She provides a positive environment while helping students improve and blossom into the best versions of themselves. When Courtney is not dancing, she is spending time with her husband and four young children. She loves shopping, playing with her kids, and enjoys coffee.
